We last saw the audiologist a month ago. Olivia needed new earmolds and she picked out purple with silver glitter. Well, a week went by and they finally came. Only they weren't purple. They were more like a light greyish purple with silver glitter. She wasn't happy with them. So, I called the audiologist and let her know what happened. She reorders them. This time they come back clear with purple glitter. I call her again. She reorders them. It's now been three weeks since we've ordered the first pair! So Olivia has been so excited this week. She was sooo sure they were going to get it right this time. She was checking the mailbox everyday. They came today. Slightly clear purple with silver glitter. Why on earth can't they get purple right!!!? I don't know what to do anymore! I'm going to e-mail the audiologist on Monday this time with pictures of what we got and pictures of what we want. We now are stuck with three pairs of earmolds that she doesn't like. The first picture is the color she wanted. The second picture shows the three different colors we have received the past three weeks.

Sheesh! That shouldn't be so hard! Purple should be fairly self-explanatory. It isn't lavender or clear, lol!
ReplyDeleteSigh... I hope Olivia gets her (purple) earmolds soon!
I hope they get it right soon. I'm sure you and the audiologist are having fun with this one.
ReplyDeleteHave you had the sparkles before? I'm not sold on them. They were tough to get in at first - we had to use a lot of Oto-slick and I think they're degrading quicker than the other ones we've had. I think I'm going to steer Julia toward a color with no glitter this time and see if it's any better.
I'm back again to let you know I mentioned you in my Beautiful Bloggers post today!
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry to hear about earmold problem. I hope the 4th try is the charm Olivia gets her purple earmolds soon.
